Role:
As the Resident Wellness Director (Director of Nursing) , you will oversee the health and wellness of our residents, ensuring their well-being and leading a dedicated team to deliver exceptional care.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and updating resident Service Plans in compliance with state regulations. Leading and mentoring team members through ongoing training, performance reviews, and recognition. Facilitating resident care conferences and coordinating with families and healthcare providers. Collaborating with other departments to support the overall health and wellness of residents. Ensuring compliance with infection control policies and maintaining medical and personal supplies. You will also play a critical role in assessing residents , organizing wellness visits, and serving as a liaison with external healthcare services, pharmacies, and family members. As a leader in our assisted living community, you’ll foster a positive and supportive environment for all.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct resident assessments and wellness visits. Communicate regularly with families and physicians. Oversee medication management and ensure proper documentation. Coordinate health services with external providers. Provide emergency first aid when needed. Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory compliance.
Training & Development:
Lead the orientation and ongoing training of new team members. Provide continuous education and support to staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and state regulations.
Qualifications:
Education:
Licensed LPN or RN.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in long-term care or healthcare management.
Licensure:
Active state nursing license.
Skills:
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Compassionate, adaptable, and able to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
