Regional Director of Therapy Confidential Orlando, FL 32811 • Hybrid work Regional Director of Therapy – Multi-Site Coverage (Full-Time, Travel Required) A leading provider of rehabilitation services is seeking a Regional Director of Therapy to oversee therapy operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities. This dynamic leadership role involves frequent travel and requires strong clinical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Position Summary:
The Regional Director of Therapy is responsible for supporting multiple rehabilitation teams across a defined region. This role involves planning, guiding, and evaluating therapy services to ensure high-quality care, clinical excellence, and operational efficiency across sites. The ideal candidate is flexible, solution-oriented, and passionate about both patient care and staff development.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide oversight and guidance to therapy teams across multiple facilities Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and professional regulations Collaborate with facility and therapy leadership to optimize clinical programs and staffing Travel frequently to various facility locations within the assigned region Deliver occasional direct patient care as needed Support onboarding, training, and development of clinical staff
Qualifications:
Must be a licensed Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OTR), Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience Regional or multi-site therapy leadership experience is strongly preferred Excellent communication, time management, and team collaboration skills Must be comfortable with extensive travel across assigned facilities Strong understanding of therapy documentation, compliance, and reimbursement practices
Additional Requirements:
