Days The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Heart of Florida AdventHealth Heart of Florida is a licensed 193-bed acute care hospital, coupled with outpatient services including imaging, rehab, lab and wound care, that has been serving the community for over 50 years. As a part of the AdventHealth network patients will have greater access to a wide range of innovative therapies, new research, leading-edge technology and an extensive team of medical specialists. High-quality care that has been recognized by the Joint Commission, the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association. Located in Davenport, FL., which is close to major destinations, like Busch Gardens, Legoland, and Walt Disney World, without being located in the central hub of tourism. The role you’ll contribute: Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Provides Executive leadership to the Acute Care, Outpatient and Rehabilitation Hospital business units at more than one hospital facility including oversight of Outpatient Rehab hospital-based programs, off site program and Cardiac Rehab. Responsible for the Strategic Vision and planning, Business development, clinical program development, Performance Improvement and the financial development and execution. The value you’ll bring to the team: Multidisciplinary Responsibility Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathologist, Registered Nurse, Recreation Therapist and Ortho tech Demonstrates, through behavior, AdventHealth’s core values. Oversees the day-to-day operation of the Rehabilitation and Acute Care business units in a multi-campus, multi-program and multidisciplinary setting. Ensures adherence to the Corporate Compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all applicable, local, state, and federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies. Includes but not exclusive to Joint Commission, DNV, CMS, AHCA, OSHA and multiple disciplines specific practice act. Assures that policies, procedures and practices of the specific Rehabilitation business units are consistent with the hospital goals, policies and procedures and in accordance with regulating and accrediting bodies. Strategic and Operational Responsibility for Acute Care Rehabilitation Department Covering both campuses and Outpatient Clinics. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: Degree of Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy or Speech Language Pathology. 3 years of progressive leadership experience and 5 years’ experience in the functional area Licensed by the state of Florida in Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapy This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
