We do this through delivering a specialized continuum of outpatient care of 1,000+ units/week to a population of 5,000 across
Massachusetts:
medication management, in-person and virtual intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs (IOP/PHP), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), in-house laboratory services, as well as three levels of housing (i.e. Medicaid reimbursed Co-Occurring Recovery Residences, self-pay-based sober homes, and state-sponsored low threshold housing). Program Overview:

The residential recovery programs are structured rehabilitation-oriented treatment focused on trauma-informed care and harm reduction. It is designed for motivated individuals who want to enhance the quality of their day-to-day lives. Through active engagement in groups and the development of the community, we will work together to overcome challenges that interfere with our abilities to live life to the fullest. Residents will be assigned a weekly life skill to ensure ongoing cleanliness/maintenance of the house. Residents are expected to take part in assigned life skills. Staff will help if residents are unsure about how to complete a task. Life Skills are necessary to independent living. On average, residents spend between three to six months in the three phases of the residential program. Each phase of the program rewards residents with increasing levels of responsibilities and freedoms. Throughout the program, residents are supported by deep expertise from SMG’s outpatient services, our core capability. Residents are also able to stay with our outpatient practice post-discharge for continuity of care.

level of care is to provide a thoughtful treatment environment, offering a robust spectrum of psychiatric and clinical services which creates a therapeutic milieu resulting in residents gaining greater amounts of self‐responsibility and self‐efficacy. By addressing our resident’s social determinants of health along with their medical, psychiatric, and clinical needs, they will learn important skills to move beyond their illness, so they can pursue a personally meaningful life. Residents will be prepared for community reintegration through either permanent housing, discharges to sober living or other long‐term supportive environments. The Co-Occurring Enhanced (COE) Residential Clinical Director is responsible for the clinical oversight of COE Care Coordination and Clinical Counseling services and Treatment to the clients in recovery from SUD / Addiction AND Moderate to Severe Mental Health Conditions. COE residents are reintegrating into the community and returning to social, vocation/ employment, and/or educational roles. Goal-oriented clinical services are provided in conjunction with onsite psychiatry and onsite medication management to support stabilization and development of skills necessary to achieve recovery.
Residential Clinical Director Qualifications:
MUST MEET ONE OF THESE 2 QUALIFICATIONS
LICSW with a MINIMUM of three years plus (3+) post-LICSW experience – both in direct services and in a supervisory role in a behavioral health environment, or LMHC with a MINIMUM of three years plus (3+) post-LMHC experience – both in direct services and in a supervisory role in behavioral health environment.
MUST HAVE
; MS, MSW, M.Ed. with LADC-1.
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with third-party insurance authorizations, quality and concurrent reviews and utilization management. Act in accordance with Square Medical Group’s Standards of Care at all times, including maintaining professional ethics, boundaries and client confidentiality while working from a strength-based perspective using clinical approaches such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, Harm Reduction, Trauma Informed Care, and Self-Help Programming. Ensure adherence to program requirements. Experience with EHR to maintain effective documentation and record keeping including biopsychosocial assessments, individual action plans, re-assessment, progress notes, case management, consent forms, data collection. Minimum 1 year of clinical supervisory experience. Ability to work independently and cooperatively as a member of a professional team. Other requirements include proficiency in the MS Office Suite, strong organizational skills and superb communication skills. Strong organizational, writing and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work successfully in multi-cultural settings with diverse client populations.
Residential Clinical Director Responsibilities:
Deliver clinical programming, including individual & group counseling and crisis intervention/management. Coordinate and oversee the admissions process. Provide milieu coverage as needed, including: monitoring and assessing the therapeutic milieu, empowering clients, assisting clients in self-administration of medications, answering phones and door. Review treatment planning and other clinical documentation, such as assessments/diagnosis, treatment plans, referrals, e.g., psychiatric and medication, aftercare/discharge and follow-up service plans. In collaboration with Square Medical Group Administrative staff, develop and revise, as necessary, all clinical policies and procedures to ensure contractual, regulatory and accreditation compliance. Perform client record reviews, including weekly MDT audits of open charts and a monthly review of closed charts. Provide clinical supervision and supervise interns. Participate in on-call rotation. Other Management and Clinical duties as assigned. Completing necessary payroll and staffing related duties. Meet regularly with nurse practitioners, medical assistants, other medical staff as necessary to promote the meeting of client needs. Responsible for supply management and ordering of house supplies as needed. Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the program.
