Job Description
Director of Rehab 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars 470 Rainbow Dr, Rock Port, MO 64482 We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our healthcare team as a Director of Rehab. The Director of Rehab is responsible for overseeing all rehabilitation services within our facility, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. This individual will lead a team of talented therapists and support staff to provide high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize rehab services and improve patient outcomes Supervise and mentor a team of therapists and support staff, providing guidance and support as needed Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of rehab services, making adjustments as necessary to meet the needs of our patients Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of practice Manage the department budget, including monitoring expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the healthcare organization
Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (occupational therapy, speech therapy) Current licensure as a therapist in the state of practice 5+ years of experience in a rehab setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing rehabilitation services Proficiency with electronic medical records and other healthcare technology If you are a dynamic and dedicated healthcare professional with a passion for rehab services, we encourage you to apply for the Director of Rehab position at our facility.
