Full-Time Shift 1 Job Description Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, develops, plans, directs, and manages programs, policies, and functions of rehabilitation services in a multi-site, multi-corporate environment which includes, but is not limited to physical therapy, occupational therapy, and cardiac rehabilitation services, both on an inpatient and outpatient basis. The incumbent will collaborate with other leaders in the development of program objectives and ensure that services are provided in accordance with licensure, regulatory standards, and all established hospital policies, procedures and protocols. Education And Credentials Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy and/or other rehabilitation service with at least ten (10) years of clinical experience in a hospital setting required. Master’s degree with five (5) years of clinical experience, Doctorate in Physical Therapy, or Master’s degree in another rehabilitation service preferred. Unrestricted New York State license with current registration (physical therapy or other rehabilitation service) required. Experience At least five (5) years of managerial experience in a health care setting specific to rehabilitation services required. Seven (7) to ten (10) years of managerial experience in a health care setting specific to rehabilitation services in both an inpatient and outpatient setting preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively and make critical clinical, operational and staffing decisions confidentially. Must work collaboratively with internal and external customers at every level. Must be able to identify, address and intervene in conflicts when necessary in accordance with organizations polices.
