Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Graduate of a Sonography program. Registry in good standing or Registry eligible by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must obtain within 30 days of hire date.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a clinical setting performing echocardiograms. Advanced certification in echocardiography or related specialties. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Responsibilities:
Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures as ordered by physicians. Ensure the proper functioning of echocardiography equipment and report any malfunctions.
