Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited trainingcourse in cardiac technology.
• Successful completion of anaccredited training course in cardiac ultrasound.
• Interpretationskills to facilitate a comprehensive examination and an accuratepreliminary interpretation.
• Successful completion of a cardiacechocardiography technology program (graduate of cardiacechocardiography technology program). Benefits

• Under the direction of thesupervising physicians in the Non-Invasive Cardiology Lab, preparespatient for examination, performs all 2-dimensional echoes, M-modeand Doppler studies.
• Prepare preliminary interpretation of thosestudies.
• Prepare and maintain records patient to echo studies.
• Assist supervising physicians with the training of residents,fellows, faculty and other physicians.
• Knowledge of multipleechocardiography platforms and technology.
• Ability to read,interprets, apply, and or follow physicians orders, policies,procedures, or written and verbal instructions.
