Job Summary and Qualifications The Sonographer performs technical procedures, applying ultrasound techniques for the purpose of detecting pathology. Responsible for regulating, cleaning and disinfecting equipment used to produce the images as well as process and organize the image in PACS.

What qualifications you will need:

Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required at hire (Instructor certifications interchangeable with required certifications) Required Associate Degree in diagnostic medical sonography, or certicate in diagnostic medical sonography Required registry from ARRT in Sonography, CCI and/or ARDMS Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) Certification through either ARRT or ARDMS or RVS through CCI required within 12 months of hire 1-3 years of experience preferred HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is a 238-bed acute care hospital.
