$55.69/hr. (includes $34.19/hr. taxable + $21.50/hr. per diem; all-inclusive)

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technician for a 13-week contract assignment in the EP Lab at a leading facility in Fort Lauderdale, FL . This position is ideal for professionals with at least 2 years of EP experience and familiarity with complex cardiac procedures such as Watchman device implants, AFib ablations (PFA), ICDs, and EP studies.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in electrophysiology procedures and cardiac catheterization lab operations. Monitor, document, and report patient conditions throughout procedures. Serve as a central coordinator for multidisciplinary care during EP cases. Follow physician and nursing orders accurately and promptly. Maintain a sterile environment and support EP team with specialized devices and technology. Support discharge planning and ensure smooth patient transitions post-procedure. Remain available to stay beyond scheduled hours to complete procedures as needed.

Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum 2 years in Electrophysiology Lab or Cath Lab.

Certifications:

RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) – Required BLS and ACLS –

Required Preferred:

Experience with Epic EMR system. Strong knowledge of EP devices and procedures (e.g., Watchman, ICDs, PFA, AFib ablations). Team player with excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
