• Unlimited Referral Bonuses up to $1,000 Duties Responsibilities Theprimary responsibility of the EP Tech is to provide assistance withthe patient care in the electrophysiology lab through the provisionof technical assistance to the cardiac catheterization and EP team
• Use imaging equipment to help the doctor detect and treat anyheart and blood vessel issues in the patient.
• Execute anynoninvasive course of action.
• Review the patient’s history andverify the medical order.
• Evaluate images by checking the qualityof the image and the making sure that the area in question isincluded in the image.
• Be familiar with the differences from anormal image and an abnormal image.
• Communicate with the doctorthe result of the image.
• Assist physicians in the performance ofvarious diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in theElectrophysiology Labs.
• Assure compliance with federal, state,and local technical and professional regulations and acceptedpracticed guidelines.
• Delivers quality, cost effective patientcare in a professional manner.
• Works effectively to maintain anenvironment of excellence, which is patient focused, providingtimely, compassionate, quality patient care.
• Prepare and updatepatient records accurately and legibly.
