• The role you’ll contribute:
• EKG Technician performs inpatient and outpatient 12 Lead electrocardiograph recordings, holter/event monitor placement/scanning as needed, and treadmill stress testing along with related documentation.

• Confirms that appropriate patient information is present and complete prior to starting a procedure.
• Confirms patient identification and understanding of procedure.
• Performs thorough and accurate routine and emergency EKGs as ordered by physician.
• Presents all STAT EKGs to RN immediately after completion. Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or GED, successful completion of established EKG exam during orientation or within 6 months, and annually thereafter

Experience:

Previous patient care experience; on the job training

• Current BLS certification required from American Heart Association
• Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) OR Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within 18 months of starting this role with any Centura Health facility This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
