Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida is looking for a qualified Echo & Vascular Technologist to join our growing cardiology practice teams in Tavares, FL & The Villages Locations Are you a skilled Vascular Ultrasound Technologist looking to join a leading cardiovascular team? Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to provide high-quality vascular imaging at our Tavares and The Villages locations. As a Echo & Vascular Technologist, you will perform non-invasive echo & vascular ultrasound exams to assist our physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions. You will work closely with our medical team to ensure accurate imaging, maintain patient comfort, and uphold the highest standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform echo & vascular ultrasound procedures, including carotid, arterial, venous, and abdominal studies. Ensure high-quality imaging and accurate documentation of findings. Work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care. Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance. Follow safety and infection control protocols. Educate patients about procedures and answer any questions they may have.
Qualifications:
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) certification required. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in vascular ultrasound preferred. Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology. Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and software. Excellent patient care and communication skills.
