• Unlimited Referral Bonuses up to $1,000 DutiesResponsibilities The primary responsibility of the EP Tech is toprovide assistance with the patient care in the electrophysiologylab through the provision of technical assistance to the cardiaccatheterization and EP team.
• Use imaging equipment to help thedoctor detect and treat any heart and blood vessel issues in thepatient.
• Execute any noninvasive course of action.
• Review thepatient’s history and verify the medical order.
• Evaluate imagesby checking the quality of the image and the making sure that thearea in question is included in the image.
• Be familiar with thedifferences from a normal image and an abnormal image.
• Communicate with the doctor the result of the image.
• Assistphysicians in the performance of various diagnostic and therapeuticprocedures in the Electrophysiology Labs.
• Assure compliance withfederal, state, and local technical and professional regulationsand accepted practiced guidelines.
• Delivers quality, costeffective patient care in a professional manner.
• Workseffectively to maintain an environment of excellence, which ispatient focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality patientcare.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
