Day Shift Description:
Echo/Vascular Sonographer Assists in the organization and implementation of the ECHO Lab. Oversee the day-to-day clinical aspects related to the services of the ECHO Lab. Complies with hospital policies and supports the mission and values of the hospital.
What you will do:
Performs all echocardiography examinations including 2D transthoracic, 2D Transesophageal, 3D Transthoracic and 3D Transesophageal. When requested, will perform echocardiograms in the cardiac cath lab and at patient’s bedside. Coordinates inpatient and outpatient workflow and maintains department standards for productivity. Takes call with other Echo Techs’ on a rotational basis What you will need:
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Current registry from a licensed credentialing organization.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasonography school with advanced registration in echo cardiography is required.
Experience:
At least 1yr experience as Echo Tech- preferably in a busy
