Evoked Potentials, Nerve ConductionStudies, Polysomnography, Intraoperative NeurophysiologicalMonitoring, Long Term EEG Monitoring, and/or EMU.COMPANYDESCRIPTIONFrye Regional Medical Center, located in the beautifulfoothills of North Carolina is a 355-bed acute care hospital,81-bed Behavioral Health facility and more than 70 primary andspecialty care providers. Essential FunctionsPerforms routine andcomplex EEG procedures according to laboratory standards, includingportable, cerebral death, and sleep-deprived, etc.

Adheres tostandards of practice for electroencephalogram (EEG)recordings.

Able to identify and correct basic equipment problemswhen they occur.

Performs EEG procedures using appropriate teststrategy, montages, and filters, including the archive and transferof records.

Adopts method and instrumentation to obtain optimalresults based on history, clinical observations, and findings.

Registered/certified in a Electroneurodiagnosticsfield.

Demonstrate competence in at least one additional area of

Electroneurodiagnostics:

Evoked Potentials, Nerve ConductionStudies, Polysomnography, Intraoperative NeurophysiologicalMonitoring, Long Term EEG Monitoring, and/or EMG.Two – Three yearsof experience in EEG preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS)certification required.
