RequirementsSuccessful completion of an accredited training course in cardiactechnology. Successful completion of an accredited training coursein cardiac ultrasound. Interpretation skills to facilitate acomprehensive examination and an accurate preliminaryinterpretation. Successful completion of a cardiac echocardiographytechnology program (graduate of cardiac echocardiography technologyprogram). Preparepreliminary interpretation of those studies. Prepare and maintainrecords patient to echo studies. Assist supervising physicians withthe training of residents, fellows, faculty and other physicians.
Knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
Ability to read, interprets, apply, and or follow physiciansorders, policies, procedures, or written and verbal instructions.
