The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in performing electromyography (EMG) tests, contributing to the diagnostic evaluation of patients with neuromuscular disorders. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as experience in emergency medicine settings such as Level I or Level II Trauma Centers. Responsibilities Conduct electromyography tests and interpret results to assist in diagnosing neuromuscular conditions. Monitor and record vital signs throughout the testing process. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, findings, and patient interactions. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to explain procedures to patients effectively. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Provide support during diagnostic evaluations, including CT scans when necessary. Qualifications Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to neurology and emergency medicine. Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and interpretation. Experience working in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center is preferred. Understanding of physiology and anatomy relevant to EMG testing. Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments. Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork.
