CLTM EEG
Specialist reports to the Clinical EEG Specialist EEG coordinator of Clinical Neurophysiology Services. Under limited supervision, the EEG Specialist is responsible for interpreting and analyzing electroencephalogram (EEG) data, providing detailed preliminary reports, and managing all associated data. This position focuses specifically on reading and analyzing EEG studies, as well as organizing, storing, and maintaining the integrity of EEG data for further clinical evaluation. The EEG Specialist ensures accurate analysis and data management to support patient care and medical decision-making which assist in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions and/or disorders. Patient population seen include neonate, infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. Additional Job Description Graduation from a CAAHEP accredited program of Electroneurodiagnostic (END) technology or the equivalent and registered as an EEG Technician by ABRET required and must be maintained. Certified Long Term Monitoring Technician by ABRET required. Five years of EEG Technician work experience required. May require working irregular hours under stressful conditions.
