Travel We are looking for an Echocardiogram Technologist (Echo Tech) foran immediate travel opening in Charleston, SC. The right Echo Techmust have 1 year of experience. Read below for additionalrequirements. As an Echo Tech, you will be responsible for the use of the cardiacultrasound machine and ensuring that images are accurate and passedon to physicians for medical interpretation. Echo Techs are alsoresponsible for the preparation of and caring for patientsundergoing echocardiograms. Tasks As an Echo Tech, you should be prepared to perform the followingtasks: Educate patients and/or patient’s family regarding proceduresperformed Demonstrate competence in performance of echocardiographicstudies Consistently perform quality Doppler and color Doppler Exams Acquire quality Stress Echo and Dobutamine images according toPhysician and benchmark standards Perform quality Trans esophageal echocardiograms according tophysician expectations Demonstrate an understanding of cardiac disease processes andacquired images Report findings or concerns to reading physician for promptinterpretation Perform all related processing required for each completedstudy Maintain equipment including cleaning and disinfecting according todepartment procedure and identifying problems with equipment andreporting appropriately Maintain accurate patient records Understand and use the McKesson PACS system Requirements Must have 1 year of experience. Must have BLS, ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RSNational Certification and state-specific licensing whenrequired. Echo Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods oftime, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Echo Techsmust have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology andmedical terminology. Requirements

• : ARDMS (PE), CCI, BLS, 2 Years
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning anassignment.
