About the Position As a travel Echo Technologist in Jackson, TN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality cardiac imaging and echocardiograms to patients, supporting accurate diagnosis and care for cardiovascular conditions. With four 10-hour day shifts per week, this schedule allows ample time to explore Jackson’s historic sites, local music scene, and outdoor activities. Key Responsibilities for
Echo Technologist:
Conduct comprehensive echocardiograms and cardiovascular imaging studies with precision.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to interpret and communicate results for effective patient care.
Ensure a comfortable and safe experience for each patient during imaging procedures.
Operate and maintain ultrasound and echo equipment, upholding quality and compliance standards.
Maintain accurate patient documentation and adapt care as needed.
Requirements for Success
Certifications:
ARDMS or CCI in Echocardiography (mandatory); BLS certification (required)
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in echocardiography or cardiac imaging (preferred)
Skills:
Advanced proficiency with echocardiogram techniques and ultrasound equipment; knowledge of current best practices in echocardiography
License:
Active Echo Technologist certification
