Full Job Description Position Overview:

We are hiring experienced and dependable EMTs (Advanced) for rapid deployment to support medical operations at temporary correctional or shelter-based facilities in South Florida. These are W2 contract positions contingent upon contract award, with housing and meals provided on-site . EMTs will deliver critical pre-hospital care and assist with facility-based health operations in secure environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide emergency and routine medical care within scope of EMT (A) certification Conduct patient assessments and assist in triage and intake Administer basic medications and treatments under medical direction Respond to medical emergencies and support stabilization efforts Assist nursing staff and providers as needed in daily care delivery Maintain accurate and timely documentation Uphold safety and infection control protocols Communicate clearly with patients, staff, and security personnel Maintain professionalism in high-pressure environments

Assignment Details:

W2 Temporary Assignment (no benefits) Housing and meals included on base (no per diem or travel reimbursement) 84 hours/week – 12-hour shifts, 7 days/week

Rotational Schedule:

2-3 weeks on / 1 week off

Project Duration:

Up to 12 months

Qualifications:

Active Florida EMT (A) certification (required) 100% bilingual – English and Spanish (required) At least 1 year of EMT (A) field or facility experience Able to pass a background check and deploy with minimal notice Physically fit to work long shifts in austere conditions Current BLS certification required Join a committed team providing essential care and emergency response in high-need settings.
