Guard (swing shift) 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars 2800 Neville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15225 Guard (swing shift) – Neville Chemical Company is a leading manufacturer of low molecular weight thermoplastic and liquid resins that serve a variety of applications in the Coatings, Adhesives, Ink and Rubber industries. Customer satisfaction, innovation, and extensive research have been Neville hallmarks for 100 years. Neville has an opening for a full-time, unarmed Spare Guard at our Neville Island chemical manufacturing facility located on Neville Island, Pennsylvania. This position must be available to fill in for all shifts.
- Must be able to work overtime to cover open shift per month and cover vacations on other shifts
- Monitor, authorize and direct plant entrance and departure of employees/visitors/drivers
- Monitor surveillance equipment
- Maintain customer truck log
- Patrol property (walking)
- Report suspicious activity, contact police/fire in cases of emergency
- Must have basic computer knowledge and writing skills
- Enforce policies and procedures
- Answer phones during non-business hours The qualified candidate must possess a high school degree or equivalent and must be eligible for Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC®) clearance.
Prior Guard experience in a manufacturing facility a plus. Starting hourly wage rate is $21.80 plus shift differential. We offer an excellent benefit package and 401(k).
