12/31/2024 Description This position monitors the safety of and provides support topatients in a residential drug and alcohol treatment center. Thework schedule is 12-hour shifts and includes alternating weekendsand holidays. Day and night shifts are available.

Duties and Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limitedto: Observing patients, listening to their concerns, recording yourobservations; Excellent customer service skills; Assisting agency medical and nursing staff; Transporting patients to and from various destinations in a15-person passenger van; De-escalating situations; Maintaining a safe and secure treatment environment throughcompletion of room and belonging searches, safety inspections, andreporting of safety issues; Role modeling pro-social attitudes and behaviors to the patientpopulation; Assisting patients in maintaining their activities of dailyliving (eating, hygiene, maintaining a clean living space,etc.); Orienting new patients to the treatment program; Working collegially with the nursing, medial and clinicalstaffs.
Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications/Education:
High School Diploma/GED; With agency support, must obtain a Substance Abuse Specialist(SAS) certification within 3 years of hire; Will be expected to obtain and maintain CPR certification; A valid SC Driver’s license; Copy of
SC DMV 10
year driving record that includes no currentsuspensions; Basic computer skills; Experience working in a residential treatment settingpreferred.
