EMT Extern PRN Days Position Available In York, South Carolina

EMT Extern PRN Days Position Summary Performs and coordinates Fleet Mechanic functions of the PMC EMS department. The EMT Extern will additionally be accountable for cross training with all aspects of the Fleet, Logistics and Technology division, while attending an approved EMT education program. The position will operate under the direction of the Assistant Chief of Fleet, Logistics and Technology to ensure the operations of the EMS department are conducted in a cost effective manner while eliminating any disruption to the readiness of operations.

THE EMT EXTERN PRN DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Licensure and Certification:

Valid South Carolina or North Carolina Drivers License BLS required, must be obtained within 7 days of hire South Carolina EMT certification (within six months) Nationally Registered EMT certification (within six months) PEPP required within six months NIMS compliant with Incident Command/Incident Management within 90 days 100, 200, 700, 800 2403039881
