- The role
- you•’ll•contribute•:•T•he value•you’ll•bring to the team•:•+ Responsible for assisting the charge nurse and/or primary nurse with patient care throughout the department as assigned.
+ Assists and coordinates the immediate off-load of patients arriving via EMS with the primary nurse and/or charge nurse. + Collaborates with the primary nurse to assist in the implementation of appropriate physician orders to expedite patient care. + Obtains specimens within a timely manner of arrival. + Promptly notifies the physician and/or primary nurse of untoward changes in a patient’s condition. + Monitors cardiac/telemetry status and vital functions of all patients. + Demonstrates competency of EKG’s and cardiac monitoring.
