The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting medical professionals during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort while maintaining the highest standards of care. This position requires strong knowledge of medical terminology, aseptic techniques, and anatomy, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain endoscopic equipment and instruments for procedures. Assist physicians during endoscopic examinations by providing necessary tools and support. Ensure all equipment is sterilized and functioning properly before each procedure. Monitor patient vital signs and comfort levels throughout the procedure. Maintain accurate records of procedures performed, including patient information and equipment used. Adhere to aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure patient safety. Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate efficient workflow within the endoscopy unit. Educate patients on pre-procedure preparations and post-procedure care. Requirements Strong understanding of medical terminology related to endoscopic procedures. Proficiency in aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment. Knowledge of human physiology and anatomy relevant to diagnostic evaluations. Familiarity with medical imaging practices is a plus. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
