POSITION SUMMARY
Prepares instruments and supplies to perform procedures according to the physician’s documented preferred routine. Performs routine and delegated duties. Helps assist surgical techs in cleaning rooms and with patient care as needed. Cleans and maintains equipment, supplies, instruments, and scopes. Handles repairs and replacement of scopes. Assist in Central sterile with packing and placing instruments for pickup. Assist in preop and recovery area by helping with the flow of admitting and discharging patients under the direction of
LPN/RN. QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience or training in the disinfection/sterilization process preferred.
WORK SCHEDULE
