Job Description

Exercise Physiologist – Full-time- Shift Varies 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 8000 Alabama 69, Guntersville, AL 35976

Overview:

Performs patient assessments, including testing, and develops, implements, monitors and evaluates exercise programs for patients. Also provides patient counseling. Participates in the department’s performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

Qualifications:
Education:

Graduate of an accredited school with a bachelors degreee or masters degree in exercise science and wellness or related field.

Competencies:

Ability to work well with the public is preferred. Knowledge of personal training is preferred. Knowledge of accurate exercise prescriptions is preferred. Ability to present self and facility to public as directed is required.

Experience:

Previous experience with word processing, cardiac rehabilitation, database systems as well as public relations and fitness experience preferred.
