Exercise Physiologists NESC Staffing Orlando, FL 32833 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Exercise Physiologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in exercise science and physiology, enabling them to develop and implement tailored exercise programs for patients. This role is essential in promoting health and wellness, enhancing physical performance, and aiding in rehabilitation efforts. The Exercise Physiologist will work closely with patients to monitor their progress and ensure safe exercise practices. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical fitness levels and health status. Develop individualized exercise prescriptions based on patient needs, goals, and medical history. Monitor patients during exercise sessions to ensure safety and effectiveness of the program. Educate patients on the importance of physical activity, proper body mechanics, and lifestyle modifications. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and adjust programs as necessary. Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Perform EKGs as needed for patient monitoring during exercise sessions. Experience Candidates should have a solid background in exercise physiology or a related field.

Preferred qualifications include:

Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics. Experience in personal training or outpatient rehabilitation settings. Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and patient care protocols. Ability to apply medical terminology in clinical settings. Previous experience in patient monitoring during exercise is highly desirable.
