Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced part-time Exercise Physiologist to join our dynamic team and lead the delivery of virtual group cardiac rehabilitation programs. This remote-first position offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of digital healthcare while making a meaningful impact on patients’ cardiovascular health and quality of life. This opportunity may lead to a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities Program Delivery & Patient Care:

Conduct virtual group cardiac rehabilitation sessions using our proprietary telehealth platform Develop and implement individualized exercise prescriptions within group settings Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Provide education on cardiovascular risk factors, lifestyle modifications, and exercise safety

Clinical Documentation & Compliance:

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans Collaborate with referring physicians and healthcare teams to optimize patient care Participate in quality improvement initiatives and outcome tracking

Technology & Innovation:

Utilize and provide feedback on Overwatch Health’s virtual rehabilitation platform Stay current with telehealth best practices and emerging technologies in cardiac care Assist in the development and refinement of virtual rehabilitation protocols

Professional Development:

Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities Attend team meetings, training sessions, and company-wide initiatives Contribute to research and publication efforts when applicable Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or related field Current certification as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) through ACSM or equivalent Strong knowledge of cardiovascular pathophysiology and exercise prescription principles Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual patient care delivery Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for group facilitation Proficiency with electronic health records and documentation systems Current CPR/AED certification Preferred Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac rehabilitation or clinical exercise physiology Previous experience delivering group-based rehabilitation programs Familiarity with Medicare guidelines for cardiac rehabilitation services Experience with remote patient monitoring technologies Bilingual capabilities (Spanish preferred) Previous experience in a startup or technology-focused healthcare environment
