Job Description
Therapist I- Dale County Day Treatment
The Therapist in this position will provide therapeutic services to consumers of SpectraCare’s Day Treatment program for Dale County, located in Ozark, Alabama.
Work hours of this position are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
Responsibilities Include:
Will conduct individual, group and family therapy for consumers of the Day Treatment Program
Provide family education
Maintain consumer records using an electronic health record system
Record and staff case loads in accordance with SpectraCare, Department of Mental Health and Alabama Medicaid requirements
Link consumers to other services within the SpectraCare System and outside agencies as needed
Requirements:
Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field with successful completion of a relevant clinical practicum
Must have a good Motor Vehicle Record- will be subject to MVR checks
Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
Must obtain CPR certification upon hire
Previous experience providing therapeutic services in a mental health or substance abuse setting is preferred
