School Based Mental Health Therapist – Winston County Schools Position Available In Winston, Alabama

The School Based Mental Health (SBMH) Therapist position is responsible for counseling individuals or groups, developing and implementing a therapeutic treatment plan, and providing family support and education. The children who participate in this program are enrolled in counseling and treatment for behavioral issues. This position will be discussed in more depth during the interview.

• Requirements
• A master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or social work
• Experience is preferred, but a new graduate will be considered
• Current/Valid non-expired driver’s licenseyou will drive on behalf of the center. To meet driving qualifications, you must be minimum of 21, and have an insurable driving record
• Social security card
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and type 40+ wpm
• Orientation is required for employment. There are 5 days of paid orientation held Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
