Education:
A master’s degree from accredited university or college with major in counseling, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, special education, health education, or a related human resources field.
Experience:
One-year Mental health experience providing counseling in the areas of sexual trauma, substance abuse, disruptive behaviors, anger management, parenting skills, etc.
Responsibilities:
Facilitates individual therapy sessions for children and adults. Administers and interprets trauma assessment instruments for child and adolescent victims. Develops individual and Family Therapy sessions. Consults with Mental Health Clinical Director when necessary and appropriate. Work Remotely and or Face to Face. Summary As a Clinical Mental Health Specialist, you will provide essential individual therapy services to clients in both English or Spanish, focusing on behavioral health and trauma response. Your core skills in patient assessment and medical documentation will support effective treatment plans, while your premium skills in psychotherapy and crisis intervention will enhance client outcomes. You will work closely with diverse populations, including children and families, to deliver compassionate care.
