Job Summary The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing occupational therapy services to psychiatric patients, including individual and group treatment, to achieve functional outcomes, maximize the independence and maintenance of health of any individual who is limited by a cognitive impairment, psychosocial dysfunction, mental illness, developmental or learning disability, or an adverse environmental condition. The Occupational Therapist develops and implements individual and group therapy programs for psychiatric patients in an inpatient behavioral health setting, completes related documentation, and communicates with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordination of care. Required Qualifications
- Require one (1) year of occupational therapy experience in a behavioral health setting. Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience.
- Prefer a master’s or doctorate degree in occupational therapy.
