Primary Responsibilities:
Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders
Provide treatment for mental health conditions using various approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications

Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field Must have a clear, active and unrestricted license (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC) in the state of Florida
Currently eligible to be enrolled as a provider in the Medicare program or able to terminate opt-out (if applicable) prior to starting a new position
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of professional experience post master’s degree providing behavioral health services
Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families If the hired individual resides in Florida (office based or telecommuting) this position requires the AHCA Level II background check (fingerprinting) by the State of Florida for all clinicians that have direct face to face contact with members OR employees who will have access to confidential patient data and will require renewal every five years. The salary range for this role is $59,500 to $116,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
