The ideal candidate will provide clinical counseling services to individuals, particularly focusing on those with developmental disabilities, PTSD, and pediatric needs. This role is essential in supporting clients through their therapeutic journey, utilizing various therapeutic techniques to foster growth and healing. Responsibilities Conduct individual and group counseling sessions in an outpatient setting. Develop personalized treatment plans based on client assessments and needs. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage clients effectively. Provide specialized care for clients dealing with PTSD and other trauma-related issues. Implement behavioral therapy strategies to address various mental health challenges. Facilitate art therapy sessions to promote self-expression and emotional healing. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Skills Strong background in clinical counseling with a focus on outpatient services.
