Full Time (3days per week with 1 night to close) (Monday•Friday)
RoleOverview:
As a Behavioral Health Therapist, participate as a memberof the service delivery team to provide risk assessments, crisisinterventions, safety planning, coordination of care includingdischarge planning, brief interventions, group work and potentialplacement for clients. These services are provided to individualswho are in behavioral health crisis or in need of longer-termrespite care and whose needs cannot be accommodated safely in thecommunity or in a less restrictive environment. This position willbe working with an IOP level of care will be part of the positionfor substance treatment.
Essential Duties:
Facilitation of aSubstance Use Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program level of care.
Direct client care to include care coordination, behavioral healthrelated screenings and assessments, individual and group therapy,brief therapy, case management, and related clinical services.
Serves as a clinical resource person to building site(s), clinicalstaff, case managers, medical providers and collaterals. Knowledgeof professional policies and procedures. Collaborates with otherstaff in providing, planning, developing, implementing, andevaluating clinical services, including collaborating with ClinicalManagers and Program Supervisors. Performs behavioral healthscreenings and assessments within the medical clinic setting, toinclude review of treatment options and referral information.
Provides on going care coordination within SummitStone, communityagencies and resources. Provides crisis intervention to includecrisis assessment and de-escalation. Provides on-site collaborationwith medical providers to provide behavioral health assessments forthose clients identified with behavioral health needs. Clinicaldocumentation. Supports and fosters team values with peers andclinic staff, to provide support and remove barriers. Maintainssuperior customer service for internal and external customers byproviding information and answering questions/requests in timelymatter. May participate on committees (both internal and external),in meetings, and works on projects as assigned. Perform otherduties as assigned.
NOTE :
Be aware that licensure must be pursedin this role and have a willingness to engage on the LAC track.

Required:
Master’s degree in social work, counseling,psychology, or related field from an accredited College orUniversity and registered with DORA as a Candidate working towardslicensure as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT. At least one year of experience inthe behavioral health field. At least one year of experience withmild to severe mental illness and substance use disorders.
Facilitation of an SUD IOP level of care is required.
Preferred:
Ability to facilitate a Substance Use Disorder Intensive OutpatientProgram highly preferred. Substance Use Disorder Licensure (CAS orLAC) preferred. Bilingual/bi-cultural preferred. Some positionsinclude driving a company vehicle and require a valid Coloradodriver’s license.
