General Role Description:

As a Licensed Clinical Therapist /Independent Licensed Therapist, you will treat a wide variety ofmental health conditions that reflect the needs of our diversepatient population. You will provide patients with behavioral andmental health treatments through individual and family Therapy asneeded.

Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities:

• Formexcellent provider-patient alliances and coordinate care withexternal providers
• Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations
• Participate in enriching the training experience of our graduatestudents
• Screen and assess patients for common mental health andsubstance abuse disorders
• Provide treatment for a variety ofmental health conditions using treatment approaches includingcognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, andother evidence-based methods
• Systematically track treatmentresponse and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms andtreatment side effects or complications
• Opportunities torepresent the practice in community presentations and lectures

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in psychology, socialwork, or a related counseling field
• Must have a clear, active andunrestricted license (LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, or LPC) in the state ofpractice

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years professional socialwork / clinical experience post Master’s degree
• Experienceproviding direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families
• Experience working with computers for professional communicationand medical documentation – Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or otherEHRs)

The salary range for this role is $59,500 to $116,600 annuallybased on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factorsincluding but not limited to local labor markets, education, workexperience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies withall minimum wage laws as applicable.
