The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health care to individuals, focusing on those with disabilities and developmental challenges. This role requires a strong understanding of crisis management, patient care, and effective therapeutic techniques, including motivational interviewing and applied behavior analysis. Responsibilities Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients with various mental health needs, including PTSD and developmental disabilities. Conduct thorough assessments and data collection to inform treatment plans. Develop and implement personalized care strategies that promote client well-being and recovery. Utilize crisis management techniques to address urgent client needs effectively. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards. Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in social work and mental health care. Qualifications Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. Current LICSW licensure is required. Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including developmental disabilities. Strong background in patient care, particularly for those experiencing PTSD or other trauma-related issues. Proficient in data collection methods and documentation practices. Familiarity with applied behavior analysis techniques is preferred. Excellent crisis management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
