Licensed Clinical Social Worker Trauma response Mid-level Master’s degree Motivational interviewing EMDR Certification Gender issues counseling Communication skills Full Job Description About us Chronic Health Counseling, PLLC, offers mental health services from highly skilled therapists trained in multiple therapeutic approaches. We specialize in addressing mental health concerns that stem from living with chronic medical conditions. We also assist families and others who are suffering with anxiety, depression and post traumatic stress disorder. We are looking for a clinician who can commit to providing in person services in our Concord, NC office. Highly prefer a clinician who work with adolescents, and/or couples.

  • Provide counseling and support to individuals with chronic pain, chronic medical illness or disease, mood disorders, and gender issues.
  • Conduct therapy sessions using various therapeutic techniques, such as CBT, EMDR, and Trauma-Informed Therapy.
  • Experience in the use of motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma informed care and strengths-based interventions.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate the progress and effectiveness of therapy sessions.
  • Complete documentation in accordance with agency’s and insurance standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of therapy, particularly in relation to clinical research and therapeutic techniques. Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, counseling, social work).
  • Previous experience working as a therapist or counselor, preferably with experience in medical or chronic pain counseling.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and interventions for individuals and families.
  • Familiarity with assessment, modalities, treatment planning and counseling techniques.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Current and unrestricted state of North Carolina license as LCSW, LMFT or LCMHC required
