Great Kids & Awesome Adults is an established Early Intervention company that serves many areas throughout South Carolina. We are rapidly growing and accepting qualified applicants! Early Interventionists are expected to maintain a caseload in their designated area where they will provide in-home Family Training and Service Coordination to children ages Birth to 6 on a weekly basis. Early Interventionist Specialists will also conduct assessments (FSP/IFSP) to determine the child’s needs and work in collaboration with the family, pediatrician, teachers, etc to coordinate services. We look for creative and passionate professionals who are committed to supporting the families we serve.
Qualifications:
– MUST have a specific degree from the list below OR Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services WITH 1 year of documented experience working with Infants and Toddlers OR children ages birth to 5 years with disabilities OR Bachelor’s Degree in ANY field WITH 5 years of documented experience with infants and toddlers OR children ages birth to 5 years with disabilities. A Bachelor’s degree in: Child/Human Development;
Education:
Early Childhood; Special Education, Early Childhood Special Education, or Elementary Education; Family and Consumer Sciences; Psychology; Public Health; Social Work; Sociology; Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts to include the following: Physician, Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Independent Social Worker, Licensed Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, Licensed Doctor of Osteopath, Licensed Professional Counselor (Master’s and Doctoral Level only), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Physician’s Assistant, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Speech Language Pathologist, Licensed Audiologist, Licensed Physical Therapist, Licensed Occupational Therapist. Preferred experience/degree in psychology, child life specialist, early childhood, mental health, healthcare, teaching.
