Job Description:
Core Job Responsibilities:
Lead and deliver daily wellness and recreational activities for senior citizens at the Wellness Center. Act as a liaison between patients, medical center staff, and visiting community professionals. Provide transportation coordination, information on benefits, and inventory management for the Wellness Center. Support additional company events when required.
Key Competencies & Skills:
Creative in developing and executing wellness events Strong communication and customer service skills Highly organized, able to multi-task and work under pressure Respect for patient confidentiality and compliance with procedures Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Bilingual in English and Spanish is mandatory Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Job Requirements:
Prior experience in patient-facing roles, preferably with elderly or vulnerable populations Experience in community health outreach programs Understanding of medical center operations Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Capable of conducting health screenings and speaking to groups Preferred Qualifications (Desirables): Experience with geriatric patients or vulnerable adults Nutrition knowledge 2-3 years of experience as a Personal Trainer or facilitating wellness activities Prior experience with Medicare/Medicaid health plans Experience using Electronic Medical Record (ECW) systems
