Type:
Contract 5/19/25-9/18/25 with possible extension!

Job Summary:
As a Wellness Coordinator, you will develop, implement, and deliver daily wellness activities at the Wellness Center. You will act as a liaison between medical center staff, patients, community guests, and professional visitors providing services for the Wellness Program.
Responsibilities:
Organize and perform daily wellness program activities. Provide patients with information about the Wellness Center’s benefits and activities. Coordinate transportation for patients attending the Wellness Center as needed. Assist with other company events as required. Maintain and manage inventory of necessary items for the Wellness Center.

Ability to creatively develop and deliver wellness program events. Strong communication, customer service, and telephone skills. Exceptional organizational skills and multitasking ability. Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments. Capable of maintaining patient confidentiality at all times. Effective interaction and communication with patients, medical staff, and associates. Flexibility to follow policies and work across various schedules and locations.
Job Requirements:
Bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish). Experience in structured, patient-facing roles involving planned activities. Familiarity with community health outreach programs and medical center operations. Ability to work independently under general instructions, as well as collaboratively within a team. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills. Comfortable speaking to groups and leading activities or lectures. Willingness to conduct screenings as scheduled by management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with vulnerable adults or the elderly population. Nutrition knowledge. 2-3 years of experience as a Personal Trainer or leading wellness/recreational activities. Health plan experience, including Medicare/Medicaid familiarity. Knowledge of electronic medical records systems (e.g., ECW).
