Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing diabetes self-management education and training to groups according to the Scope of Practice, Standards of Practice, and Standards of Professional performance for Diabetes Educators (AADE, 2005).
Qualifications:
REQUIRED
1. Minimum of 1 year experience providing diabetes education to individuals and/or groups 2. Certified Diabetes Educator or who is eligible to become a certified diabetes educator. 3. Lead and manage group classes.
PREFERRED
1. Knowledgeable about current diabetes treatment management.
Work Hours:
: 7:30-4:00
