The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating individuals in essential first aid and CPR techniques, ensuring they are equipped with the skills necessary to respond effectively in emergency situations. Conduct classes in both classroom settings and practical environments, ensuring all participants understand the material. Utilize effective public speaking techniques to deliver information clearly and confidently. Educate participants on the importance of first aid, CPR, and emergency response protocols. Assess participant understanding through hands-on practice and evaluations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of first aid guidelines and best practices. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages questions and participation. Collaborate with other instructors to enhance course offerings and improve teaching methods. Qualifications Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information simply. Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development for adult education. Proficient public speaking skills to engage diverse audiences effectively. Previous experience as a lifeguard or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Ability to swim proficiently as part of practical training sessions. Certification in CPR and First Aid is mandatory; additional certifications in related areas are a plus. Experience teaching or training adults is highly desirable. A passion for educating others and promoting safety awareness within the community.
