ASD Coach 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars 350 Washington Street, North Easton, MA 02356 House of Possibilities is in search of a full- time dynamic Autism Coach to provide in community and on campus support for adults with Autism in the Coaching & College Navigation program. Coaching, which includes Pre-Engagement, is an individualized one-to-one service between an individual on the autism spectrum and a qualified professional coach to promote independence and real involvement in community life and the world of work by identifying and working on the barriers the individual is facing. College Navigation addresses the service gap for ASD individuals who are attending college and, although they have the academic skills to succeed, are challenged with lack of executive functioning skills, social skills, and/or anxiety that prevents them from successfully navigating and engaging in campus life experience. The ASD coach will be responsible for helping to grow this program currently serving 60+ individuals. The coach will work independently with individuals to meet their personal goals. To qualify, the ASD Coach must: Bachelors degree completion is a requirement. Masters in education, psychology, or related degree preferred. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient technology skills to be able to provide needed documentation and notes Have a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
