The Advanced Life Support (ACLS/PALS) Instructor is responsible for effectively presenting the course content, demonstrating the skills of ACLS and/or PALS, and evaluating the performance of skills as demonstrated by each class participant. Education Bachelor’s Degree Related Field of Study required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
No Licenses and Credentials ACLS Instructor [

- American Heart Association (AHA)
HeartSaver CPR Instructor [Heartsaver CPR AED - CPR-INS]
- American Heart Association (AHA) preferred
BLS certification required Experience Experience in training and development.
2-3 years required
One (1) to three (3) years experience as an ACLS and/or
PALS/PEARS
Instructor preferred
Demonstrated public speaking ability required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experience with developing and delivering training programs
Experience with working with employers to identify training needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
