Additional Information About the Role BJC Behavioral Health has an opportunity for a Behavioral Health Clinical Educator. This role will work to onboard new clinical staff and provide ongoing training to existing staff. Onsite position and must be able to travel to BJC facilities in St. Louis and Farmington. Ideal candidates should be proficient with EXCEL and have experience working within the mental health field. Overview BJC Behavioral Health is a community health center that provides and coordinates behavioral health services for more than 8,000 seriously mentally ill adults and seriously emotionally disturbed children in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. François, Iron and Washington counties. As an Administrative Agent of the Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH), BJC Behavioral Health serves as a major point of entry for people eligible for mental health services funded by DMH and is responsible for serving as gatekeeper to the public mental health system. Ensures that clients receive quality behavioral health care. The program evaluates providers and monitors: quality of care, efficiency of care, client satisfaction and compliance and clinical standards. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Clinical Educator is a multi-disciplinary liaison and educator to all clinical workflow at BJC BH. Will ensure current programs are functioning efficiently and within parameters of all external and internal guidelines and will be responsible for all new clinical workflow implementation and monitoring. Responsibilities Assess all current and new clinical workflows are evaluated for efficacy, appropriate implementation and ongoing evaluation. Targets new and specific training to areas identified in need through these efforts. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates ongoing educational and professional development activities and programs for all clinical disciplines. Development of centralized training modules for all new employees to ensure that work is consistent and appropriately documented. (such as EMR treatment documents, CSSRS, DLA 20, Mileage, High Priority Clinical Outcomes areas) Develop external partnership with contractors whose services are purchased for our clients to ensure compliance oversight and reporting. Minimum Requirements Education Bachelor’s Degree – Healthcare related field Experience
