The North Carolina National Guard (NCNG) Integrated Behavioral Health System (IBHS) provides comprehensive, confidential, and free behavioral health services to service members and their families throughout the state, including at its Colfax, NC location. Led by Director Stephanie Nissen, the IBHS team includes licensed clinicians and behavioral health case managers who deliver a wide range of support services such as 24/7 crisis intervention, in-person and telehealth therapy, mental health assessments, wellness training, and assistance with basic needs like housing, food, and benefits enrollment. Colfax, North Carolina Full-time, onsite position The Period of Performance shall be one Base Year of 12 months and three 12-month option years

Overview:

As a Health/Wellness Advocate in Colfax, you will implement wellness strategies and coordinate services that promote the health and readiness of the Guard community.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver holistic wellness services focused on prevention Develop and track wellness plans for clients Partner with clinicians and leadership to meet wellness objectives

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in public health, health education, or related field (Master’s preferred) 3 years of post‐graduate experience in a social work setting if a master’s degree is held; 1 year within a military setting 5 years of post‐graduate experience in a social work setting if a bachelor’s degree is held; 1 year within a military setting Program planning and implementation experience Passion for holistic health and military service populations Please send me your most updated resume to
